LILLETH (they/them) is a director, choreographer, production designer, visual artist, composer, producer, and community organizer. They work across film, theatre, opera, and immersive experiences to build surrealist, multi-sensory, liberatory dimensions. At the center of their practice is care, innovating through process and shared leadership to ensure each collaborator feels respected and uplifted.

On film, Lilleth co-created and choreographed award-winning experimental short, Every Step is a Prayer, produced by NOWNESS and Superblue, which received Official Selection at Palm Springs International Short Fest (2022), Official Selection at Holly Shorts Film Festival (2022), Winner of Best Experimental Short at Miami Short Film Festival 2021, Best Short Film Award at Black Film Festival New Orleans (2023), Remi Winner at the 55th Annual Worldfest Houston International Film Festival (2022), and Official Selection at Woodstock Film Festival (2022). Lilleth co-directed award-winning film Born With An Extra Rib that won Queer Art New Work Prize (2022) and Translations Festival (2023).

LILLETH’s live performance direction has been shown at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall with The New York Philharmonic, The Getty Museum, The Geffen Contemporary at The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, The Kitchen NY, Superblue, Abrons Art Center, CTM Festival at Berghain Berlin, Center for Performance Research, The Bushwick Starr, DAAD Galarie Berlin, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Ars Nova, and National Sawdust, among others.

LILLETH trained with directors André Gregory, Ivo Van Hove, Lila Neugebauer, Diane Paulus, Niegel Smith, 600 Highwaymen, and Keneza Schall, among others, on projects at The Louvre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Park Avenue Armory, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and The Holland Festival, among others. Lilleth was awarded 2023 Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Performance Research.

LILLETH received their bachelors degree in Clinical Research Psychology at Harvard University, with a minor in Dramatic Arts, and are currently an MFA Candidate (2026) at University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in Film and Television Production.
